	The MCCTTF The MCCTTF is a fictional entity associated with the Texas Adventure Game series Banana Wars II, a paintball adventure game. The MCCTTF will serve as a specially trained counter terrorist assault team similar in makeup to a Marine Expeditionary Unit.

A Brief History of the USMC CTTF In January 2003, over two hundred domestic terrorists of the "American Revolutionary Movement" took over and destroyed the headquarters of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington DC. They brutally began the systematic execution of a number of notable law enforcement officials. Elite law enforcement strike teams were brough in, but were simply to small and outgunned to take them on. For two weeks the siege ensued. Eventually the president was forced to declare martial law and suspend Posse Comitatus to allow a military response. The result was a vicious three day assault which culminated in a bloody victory. The public, outraged by the impotency of the government, demanded action. To prepared for future large scale domestic terrorist threats, Congress authorized the formation of a Military Unit to take over terrorist situations that were simply too big for law enforcement. The unit would be allowed to deploy in support of Law Enforcement, but would still require declaration of Martial Law to take action. Members of this unit would be required to attend basic law enforcement education and would be deputised as "Limited Duty" U.S. Marshalls. The Marine Corps was chosen to assume the duties since they were able to respond quickly with all types of air, sea, and land forces. Working closely with the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Elite Hostage Rescue Team, one overstrength battalion of Marines was trained at the FBI's Academy ironically already located on the Marine Corps Base at Quantico, Virginia. The marriage was complete. The Marine Corps Counter Terrorist Task Force was founded. For federal level small scale conventional criminal events, the FBI's HRT or local SWAT teams would continue to do the job. But in the event another large scale terrorist act occurred on US soil, quick and decisive action would be possible.
