To join a detachment, notify the detachment commander by email of your intent and interest and contact info, and send your membership information directly to PLI International HQ. PLI HQ will notify the appropriate PLI Unit (1st or 2nd) and your detachment commander when your registration is recieved. Members may register individually or as a team, and more than one detachment per state, country, or region is fine. If you live near a detachment, join it. If not, it only takes one person willing to recruit to start a Detachment and join the PLI Family of teams! If there isn't a team one near you, start one! Some Detachments do not have homepages yet, so the link may just provide you an email.
