How to Detach
The PLI detachment is an organizational tool. The PLI recognizes numerous teams band together regularly in Big Games. To facilitate their entry into the PLI as a unit, they may request to form a detachment. Detachments may also be formed during the organizational period to facilitate recruiting. Generally their must be at least three teams wishing to form the detachment, but during the organizational period, Acting Detachment Commander may be appointed by the EC to enable them to recruit. The detachment itself has no vote or BCC rep, but each individual team within it does. These teams lose no rights of membership by joining the detachment. Detachments may also be established to encourage recruiting in certain areas. The PLI wants you to be proud of your unit, on a local, state, and national level. During the organizational phase of the PLI, detachment commanders may be appointed to "Acting" positions to recruit. Forming a Detachment entitles you to PLI HQ assistance in recruiting. PLI HQ can: -Link to your PLI detachment Site. -Refer interested player in your area to your detachment. -Assist you in choosing a Detachment Name ( Like the 1st Wyoming det. The 1st Rangers, PLI). -Provide a latin phrase (courtesy of our Illinois detachment's Latin Major) -Provide recruiting posters. -Design custom PLI graphics for your site. -Access to PLI Banners and Flags for events your detachment attends. -Support for your local PLI Protocol and Unit sponsored Events. Email the EC at PLI HQ for more information. |
