The PLI Protocol Event is a tool which allows small member teams to participate in local events under the PLI flag and banner. Any member team can sponsor a PLI protocol event by notifying PLI HQ of the dates and event. Units can also reserve the PLI Event Pack through the Store so they can actually fly the PLI Flag, Use the PLI Banner, and show off the literature and organization of the the PLI. The Pack also includes flyers and cards to use as recruiting handouts, as well as packs of membership forms.
The PLI will add your event to the Upcoming Events Page and advertise it so other members going can join you in the field!
PLI Teams sponsoring the event are to insure that the mandatory PLI protocols, like the code of conduct, basic safety rules, and sportsmanship standards are enforced.
In addition, if you or your PLI team are offered a command position at the event, PLI HQ must know in advance. Any non-members who will be "falling in" with your PLI team must abide by the Protocols for the duration of the event.
All member teams are welcome to sponsor PLI events! It doesn't matter if you have three members or fifty!
